Yugoslavian Nationalism is Criminal
But the People of the Advanced Countries Bear the Ultimate Responsibility
NATO's air strikes are provoking the unforgivable racial purge strategy of Milosovich, making bourgeoisie in Western countries furious and escalating military attacks on Yugoslavia.
This is dragging on endlessly.
The victims are the several hundreds ethnic Albanians are expelled from Kosovo and the Yugoslavian citizens wounded and killed by the NATO's airstrikes. On the other hand, the military of NATO or Milosovich rarely get injured, but only carry out brutal actions.
What or who on earth is this war for?
Workers around the world have to ask themselves this question right now.
Is this a war only for tyrannical men of power such as Clinton and Milosovich who have endless design, an honor just for the occasion or ugly ambition of political power?
Clinton could not ignore the situation of Kosovo, because he adopts a slogan of "human rights diplomacy". He had to intervene in Yugoslavia issue no matter what happens or no matter how large the military power to be employed.
If he went against his principle, he would lose any excuse to justify maintaining his authority, presidential election or anything.
On the other hand, Milosovich had no choice except strengthening his authority and provoking Yugoslavian nationalism to maintain his power because his popularity has declined completely. In fact Yugoslavian nationalism is the only ideological "device" to support his despotism. He has been looking for help in nationalism whenever his political power faces a crisis. He has had to behave like a "hawk" to maintain his authority in this case as well.
Certainly the starting point was Milosovich's brutal nationalism. It is outrageous and ugly.
However Clinton, western countries, as well as Japan cannot blame Yugoslavian nationalism (which has been revealed in several disputes within Yugoslavia and again in this Kosovo issue), because even if Yugoslavian nationalism does not have a certain economic reasons, it is completely inevitable as a superficial imitation of nationalism in advanced countries.
What is wrong with Yugoslavia if the United States of America is a country of monopolistic capital that is thoroughly nationalistic and chauvanistic?
Today, developing countries are becoming nationalistic because advanced countries have shown themselves to the whole world as models and recommended it.
All the nations are getting more nationalistic simply because the ideology of monopolistic capital nations that dominate the modern world order is so.
Therefore, Clinton has no right to criticize Milosovich's ferocious nationalism. When Clinton is nationalistic, how could he blame Milosovich's "vice" of nationalism or anything else? How could he be under the impression that he could actually eliminate it?
If he wants to stamp out nationalism throughout the world (consequently from Yugoslavia), the United States has to do that by itself first. However, the United States is doing exactly opposite thing, therefore there is no reason that nationalism should disappears.
It has been expanding around the world, and having harmful influence. As far as powerful countries that are "leaders" in the world are thoroughly nationalistic, it is desperately difficult for overflowing nationalism to decline even a little bit.
Isn't it the case that overflowing nationalism has been consciously propogated and instigated as an easy ideology which opposes against socialism?
The bourgeoisie around the world are astonished and having a hard time with the ferocious nationalism that they created. They have already forgotten that it is their fault in the case of Milosovich, and have been accusing him of all sorts of evil to hide their own crime. They have now started a large-scale "military punishment".
However it revealed acutely that the bourgeoisie are to blame because they committed "the original sin".
It is not only Milosovich who is to blame. The barbarous, corrupt, crooked leaders in monopolistic nations such as Clinton who blamed Milosovich and have started military adventures, are the ones who should be blamed.
