The Summit Did Nothing But Deceptive Actions All The Time

Crudely Expressing The Egoism Of "The Advanced Countries"
They Did Not So Much As Discuss Even NMD


The summit of the eight "advanced" countries ended up.

The prime ministers Mori were wild with joy as "great success", however, actually, the summit was a actual deception of the bourgeoisie, and many things were discussed and produced only to deceive and rip off the world working class.

We bear the duty to reveal all the trickery with them.

The first deception is the problem why only the eight "advanced" countries gathered and talked about the world important problems, and what is the eight "advanced" countries, by what kind of standard were they selected.

There are a lot of countries, almost 200 large and small countries in the world.

There are the United Nations and many international organizations related to it if they examine and deal with the world important problems.

The purpose that only the "advanced" countries gathered and argued over it, or in parallel with it, is nothing but the achievement of the egoism of the "advanced" countries and the defense of the particular interests.

Of course, they discussed the interests of the whole world and the developing country and reducing a bit the debt of the highly indebted countries in the conference.

However, at the bases of the conference, there was the interests of "the advanced countries", how to defend the privileges, how to keep the hegemony.

Besides, even the "standard" of "the advanced country" was not clear.

For example, why was not China requested for participation?

Was the reason that China is not "an advanced country" even if it is "a major power"?

Then, why Canada entered, what was the standard?

Actually, there is no reasonable standard.

The thing that only "the advanced countries" (the countries of large capital) gathered without "the developing countries" revealed the class essence and the reactionary essence of this conference itself, and it was clear from the first that we could not have any kind of fantasy in such a conference.

If there is really some problems to be argued and to be reached mutual agreement in the world, why did they not do it at the field of the United Nations?

If it is from the reason that the logic and the interests of the advanced countries will be disturbed, will get turbid, and will not be valid by the large number of the developing countries, the summit of the advanced countries itself was the expression of "disregard of the United Nation", they do not have any argument and apology even while criticized as "the advanced countries" gathered for their egoism.

The conference had been getting on under a cozy atmosphere, had given an impression of the cooperation of the world "advanced countries", and it would have succeeded to pretend whether the world would go peacefully.

However, the reason of becoming so was that they did not take out the important problems and contradictions opposing mutually, or they concealed, shelved temporarily the difficult problem, and they was not going to talk about them, so the opposition and the struggle of each countries have been concealed in the background.

The leaders of each country were rather anxious about the political influence in their country.

Because they neither argued nor examined any embarrassing problem mutually, it was inevitable that the summit became the more meaningless political show only using the vast money.

For example, about the US plan of NMD (the national missile defense), which was currently the important problem for the world, the problem that seemed to be concerned with the bases of world peace and security, they did not holed any kind of earnest discussion without Putin intimated the problem a little.

Because, there was the fear that the opposition and the difference of interests between US and Russia or Europe would come to the front, and would become uncontrollable if they would take out such a thing.

At first, US should not consent to such argument criticizing the US's plan and might tie up the US hands.

In addition, Mori who was faithful to the will of US should not have taken up squarely such "dangerous" agenda as the chairperson.

However, what they avoided the most important and central problem of the world politics itself told more than the deceptive nature and the emptiness of the summit.

Talked with some North Korean leaders beforehand, Putin came aboard the summit and tried to assert that North Korea did not stick with missile development and it was in fault for US to force through NMD on pretense of North Korea, however, this assertion of Putin was never taken up directly.

However, was it chickenshit for the future world politics whether NMD would be forced or stopped?

If US would force NMD, a system of new super weapon opposed to it would have to be devised and realized in both Russia and Europe, and it would open a road for an international new arms race.

If so, the problem of NMD was not chickenshit at all but the first grade important problem for the summit.

However, in reality, any argument and examination were hardly made in the summit, and therefore US was not enforced any kind of regulation -- not to say practical one nor moral one --.

US had kept through its "national interest", and "International cooperation" was none of his business in order to keep it.

"International cooperation" has significance for "a major power" only when it guarantees its profit or it is not contradicted with its profit.

If holy "national interest" will be lost, "hegemon" will coolly abandon "international cooperation" any time.

The fact that they avoided, and evaded earnest argument about NMD would be the decisive evidence to reveal the deception and the limit of the summit.

If they gathered to think about world "peace" and "security" seriously, and to realize it, they should argued about it, and should have arrived at a clear conclusion.

However, actually, they took the interests and the vested rights of their country more than the whole world into account at first, and it was not merely US but was common in all participated countries.

Japan also favored the summit and tried to utilize it because japanese influence become little in UN on account of non permanent state, on the other hand, in the summit, Japan can behave loudly and brilliantly as a member of "the advanced country".

Of course it was clear from the first that the reality of Okinawa and the Okinawa policy of US was not changed even a little even if we hold the summit in Okinawa, and show the reality of Okinawa as "an island of base" to the leaders and mass communication of "the advanced countries".

Clinton paid only abundant lip services about Okinawa, but practically he did not and should not promised anything, and left Okinawa early.

These things also taught the deceptive nature of this summit.

The reduction of "charity budget" still pending was a few as 330 millions yen, a "small potato" as 1% of total budget.

The declaration that the world prosperity would be certain if the IT revolution would be promoted was another deception, and many practical difficulties and contradictions of the world were concealed and deceived at all by such fantasy.

For example, the essentially important economic problems such as the problem how to do about the increasing deficit of US's current balance, is it good when the collapse of dollar would come, how to do about the speculative movement of short-term capital represented by hedge fund, whether to strengthen the regulation with a little, had been driven away behind the "magic word" of the IT revolution and prosperity by it.

They drown rosy world, however, the world economy actually is going to deepen contradiction increasingly again, and to enter in the times of turbulence.

It is never possible to evade or to dissolve such a difficult reality by playing the paean of IT revolution.

It was also the most remarkable deception of summit that it concealed and dumbed about many economic difficulties such as the financial crisis, the dollar crisis which were maturing in the world by highly-publisizing the IT revolutions and thereby drew the world economy in a rosy color.

"The advanced countries" were able to perform "international cooperation" mutually in this summit, because the contradictions and the struggle between each bourgeois nations have not deepen and have not intensified so much, but it is not that these contradictions and opposition do not exist and will not be reduced increasingly in the future at all.

On the contrary, it does not only exist but it would become more and more intense and serious in the future, and it would (and should) appear on the surface of the world politics.

It was only because the problems with suspected to be opposed each other, symbolized by the NMD problem, was shelved that the impression of "international cooperation" was created even in this summit.

We must show the true figure of this capitalist world, and must clarify the "bitter truth" of deepening of contradiction and struggle against the false figure that bourgeoisie produce as "the international cooperation" and the "peace", "stability", "prosperity" of current world.
