The Corruption of the Communist Party Has Come to a Decisive Stage

It Denied by Oneself the Party's Character of the Workers.
"A Party of the People" is Nothing But a Bourgeois Party

The Communist Party said that they are going to revise the code on the party congress in November. If it is a pure code revision to relate to the way of organized activity of the party, there will not be need for us to argue especially at all. However, actually, this revision is what to announce and declare publicly that the Communist Party shed off the skin in an open bourgeois party passing through 80 years from the organization, and has a decisive historical significance. It will be impossible in any kind of meaning now to evaluate the Communist Party as a party of working class, a party of Marxism, a party of socialism. Of course, the corruption of the Communist Party has not begun now, and this conversion declaration might have only the significance of ratification and confirmation of the venal reality of the Communist Party. However, the significance that the Communist Party has begun to show off openly the existence as a bourgeois party by oneself is not small. Though Fuwa and Shii bring out every kind of deceptive words as "for the people" or "to make plain", however, their apostasy and "conversion to bourgeoisie" is clear, and we must accuse them decisively, and must expel them from the front of fight!

From a Party of the Class to a Party of the People

The main point of the code revision is that they changed the character of the party from "the vanguard of the working class" to "the party of people as well as the party of Japanese working class", inserted the sentence that they "always have been fighting for the realization of the compelling interests of people and for the promotion of the social progress", eliminated such sentences as "the decision of the party must be executed without reserve", "an individual must follow to the organization, the minority to the majority, the lower to the upper" etc.

In addition, we must pay a particular attention to the fact as an opportunity symbolizing this "conversion" of the Communist Party, that they emphasized "the exploitation" of the Self-Defence Force on the needed situation though they insisted it as a constitutional violation in the meeting resolution.

It is characteristic that the Communist Party clearly changed own character into a party of the people from a class-representative party of the workers. Of course, the Communist Party has emphasized that it was a party of the people instead of a party of class till now, but they have let the sentence of the code to give priority to the working class alone. However, such sentences of the code has been felt as a heavy load now for this party.

But, speaking of a party of "people", it is a bourgeois party. The concept of people is nothing but the concept of people because it includes all the classes -- that is, the bourgeoisie, the petit bourgeois class, and parasitic class, too -- and it inevitably leads up to the cooperatism and compromise between the classes.

Only the opportunists who abandoned the viewpoint of class struggle and have followed to the bourgeoisie could indulge in the chattering to be a party of the people instead of a party of working class, and have been able to till now.

The people concept taking the place of the class concept not only means the abandonment of struggle with the rule of capital but also means the idealization of the rule of capital, and, in the frame, it tightly corresponds with the politics of the Communist Party declaring the "democratic change". The Communist Party demands "democratization" of Japanese capitalism, but the democracy -- of course the democracy as the historical, political system -- is already reality in Japan, which has been existed as one form of the rule of capital, as the most suitable form after the war, but it has corrupted completely already now, and is being revealed the contradiction and the decay every day.

People demanding "democratization" as "the present problem" in the country where the "democratic" rule of capital has been established basically will inevitably become the servant of the bourgeoisie, the class ruling over this regime, and they shall become.

In other words, the Communist Party is a wretched follower to the current condition, and this viewpoint will necessarily take the Communist Party between the hands of power of capital.

The right wing power of the Social Democratic Party once denied the standpoint of the class-representative party of the workers, and they always competed against the left in the party whether it is "a class-representative party" or "a nation party." The concept of the nation party are nothing new or unique at all as to be understood from this example.

It is unusual that the Communist Party saying to object to the rule of capital and to pursue socialism has also followed after the right wing of the Social Democratic Party, while just the dirty right wing of the Social Democratic Party has rolled into the Democratic Party now to protect only the position of the Diet member after having accomplished the service -- for the power of capital -- to let the Social Democratic Party dismantle.

The fact that the Communist Party transformed from a party of working class to a party of people teaches that its corruption to bourgeoisie has "finished", though this was executed already from a long time past in reality, and they only "confirmed" and approved publicly at this time.

About the Concept of "Vanguard"

The Communist Party eliminated the word, "vanguard", and about the reason, Tetsuzo Fuwa wrote that Marx and Engels did not use the word of "vanguard", they said a party practically being "the most determined and consistently promoting part" and theoretically going ahead of the rest public of the of proletariat at the point seeing into the terms and conditions of proletarian movement, the course, the general result", that they brought down "a word with taste", and he insisted as follows.

There is a misunderstanding in the word of "vanguard", which has been thought whether to comprehend the relation between the party and the people or the relation between the party and the other groups as the relation between "a person to teach" and "a taught person".
That is, he said that such word as "vanguard" to cause misunderstanding should be avoided, but there is no much difference between the meaning of the word, vanguard, and the character of the mmunist Party which Marx and Engels described in "the Communist Manifesto." Marx exactly describes that the communist party must play the role of "vanguard" of the working class, so it is stupid and contradictory to quote affirmatively the Marx's sentence that "(the communist party) is going ahead of the rest public of the proletariat" and afraid of the word -- only the word -- of "vanguard". The sentence of Marx will exactly be the assertion itself of "vanguard" concept.

And the word of "vanguard" will include the concept of "to go ahead of the rest public of the proletariat" as an essential opportunity, but I do not think that it is accompanied with necessarily the meaning such as "a person to teach" and "a taught person". The person who goes ahead and fights, who are previously aware of contradictions and fights with it are good. This is rather the essential concept of "the vanguard", and it will be "super" nonsense itself even to consider that it is the concept of "person to teach" and "taught person".

Accordingly, if "misunderstanding is caused", this "word" will not be bad but the head structure of the Communist Party will be a problem at first.

Besides, the Communist Party actually has been sectionalist rather than "vanguard." In other words, the problem is the Communist Party's narrow-minded rule, "territorialization", "leading by the nose", "coercion" of the own petit bourgeois politics for (the mass groups) such as labor union, and it cannot be overcome by abandoning the word of "vanguard" at all.

Because Fuwa denies the revolutionary and "vanguard" nature of the party of socialism on one hand, and not changes the non-democratic "enclosure" and "the leading by the nose" for "the mass groups" such as labor union on the other hand -- They will never give up the dirty and non-democratic way for the rule of labor union still now! --, this party could nothing but strengthen the character as a more corrupted petit bourgeois sect.

The "Good Use" of the Self-Defense Force

The attitude of the Communist Party toward the Self-Defense Force reveals more than their "change-to-bourgeoisie", too.

They say with lip service that the Self-Defense Force is unconstitutional existence and must extinguish "step by step" before long, however, on the other hand, they shout that the Self-Defense Force must be "well used" when some emergency (invasion from a foreign country) occurred.

However, such standpoint is not different at all from what the Liberal Democratic Party has emphasized till now. It is in an urgent situation even for the Liberal Democratic Party to think about "the well use" of the Self-Defense Force, and the Japanese armed forces must be brought up and strengthened from every day just for the purpose.

Therefore, it is extremely nonsense for them to consider to be able to justify their standpoint of the "good use" of the Self-Defense Force by taking out some urgent situations. The Communist Party says that they are opposite to the Self-Defense Force in ordinary days, recognize the significance of the Self-Defense Force only in case of emergency, and that is all, but they do not understand the simple thing that the purpose of the capital state to bring up the armed forces every day is not for the normal days.

If the Communist Party recognizes the significance of the armed forces for emergency, they must support it daily. Because if the armed forces do not exist, are not trained and equipped from ordinary days, it is useless in emergency.

To recognize the significance of the Self-Defense Force at the time of emergency is nothing but to recognize it also in the present time. It is too clear that one cannot fight against the Self-Defense Force -- and nationalism, militarism -- with separating the two and from the standpoint that he is opposite to it (because it is unconstitutional rather than from principle), but it must exist in emergency!

In addition, the flatterer Shii of the Communist Party tells about the extinction of the Self-Defense Force in the far-off future flourishingly -- to cover the own conversion --, he says that it will be after Japan becoming a neutral country and tells as follows.

After Japan will become neutrality, they will build up "the true friendly relations" with the surrounding countries and guarantee also the peace of Japan trough the international "arrangements", it will become possible to "execute the constitution Article 9 entirely" because the Self-Defense Force will be unnecessary if they "look around, and there is no worry of emergency" then, so and so. What a stupid dream it is! The situation that they "look around, and there is no worry of emergency" should not arrive in this capital ruling world where over 200 nation-states, bourgeois states exist and compete, oppose, fight desperately each other. What kind of situation is the absolute "security" in the world where exist the class states on earth? Do they say that all the bourgeois states, the class states would appear as a peaceful and moderate states? If so, the Communist Party does not understand the serious contradictions, difficulties, struggles of real world ruled by capital at all, and forget that this world is moving in the opposition and competition of capitals,that is, the various countries. A fascism state, a militarism state, and a super reactionary state are not future one but is reality in some states already, and even the many "democratic" states have such a thing as a necessary opportunity. However, the Communist Party can ignore all such reality. What a carefree party (a petit bourgeois party) it is!

The Communist Party to tell the abolition of armed forces premising the rule of capital, the countries of capital is a worthless day dreamer.

While they tell a dreamlike story of the abolition of armed forces in the future (in the current system), they preach the workers that the armed forces are necessary and must be recognized in the real stern relations, in class struggle, with supporting bourgeoisie. What a shameful reactionaries they are?

The Same Reason on the Emperor System of Japan

The Communist Party quibbles about the Emperor system of Japan similarly.

They fawn upon the reactionaries that the Emperor system of Japan is surely abolished in the future, but they do not stand on the position to abolish it so long as it is within the limit of the constitution and does not have any harmful influence as now.

In other words, they say that they do not mind the emperor-as-a-symbol system which subordinate to the Constitution and the Diet as now.

How could they say that the emperor-as-a-symbol system is not harmful when the current Emperor system of Japan is forced to the workers as a suppression mechanism, as a funny authority.

The truth is never that the prewar Emperor system of Japan is bad and the system of the emperor-as-a-symbol after the war is good. The emperor-as-a-symbol system also function magnificently as an instrument and a "system" --the clumsy way of speaking which Tatukichi Minobe said for Emperor system of Japan before the war -- to integrate and suppress the people as a whole under the capital and the nation by the deception that "the Emperor is a symbol of the nation and the people". We can not say about the Communist Party which can not understand even that but as getting senile in democracy and pacifism.

To prescribe that the Emperor is a symbol of the people means that there is no contradiction or opposition between the whole people and the Emperor. However, it will be clear that such a thing is not possible because the advanced workers (and the workers as a class in general) are opposite to the Emperor system of Japan.

If they say that the Emperor is a symbol of the people, it means that there is an agreement of interests and thought between the power of capital and the Emperor. The bourgeoisie only insist obstinately the agreement as the agreement of the whole people.

If the Emperor takes the position of liberalism, it agrees with the dominant position of the current capital power. However, the Emperor is not the "symbol" of the whole people and the nation, and there cannot be such a thing.

To let the Emperor be the symbol of the whole people is to subordinate the whole people, the working class to the Emperor who agrees the interests, the position and the thought with the ruling class, the bourgeoisie. The emperor-as-a-symbol system has significance for that purpose, so the bourgeoisie still flatter and value highly the Emperor system of Japan, but this position has virtually become the position of the Communist Party now.

The Opportunism Giving Off a Bad Smell

This party prescribes and calls them as "a party of scientific socialism" still now.

However, scientific socialism is a theory of fight against capitalism and a theory of class struggle, so it will be too clear that the Communist Party who denies this has no right to take "the party of scientific socialism."

There is no party as this party that has twisted, revised, and distorted the scientific socialism, namely Marxism. It is a "tradition" after Stalinism, the essence and the inveterate "nature" of this party.

The advanced workers now have to impeach the Communist Party which has completely turned "bourgeoisie", fell into an ugly attendant of capital, and have to expel it from the front of the fight of workers, to cleat new revolutionary movement. For that purpose, all the thinking workers must concentrate in a new socialist party of the workers, the SWP!
