Principle
The "Coordinates Axis" of the Political Reorganization Appeared
Is it not a Confrontation but a Supplementation?

"The Evening of the Shamin Party Exchange" was held in Tokyo
at night of April 19 when the Shamin Party's rally was held, Naoto Kan
of Democratic Party attended there sent a yell to the Shamin Party and
spoke, "Katou, the chief secretary of the Liberal-Democratic Party,
is showing the idea of the nation and the people. There are two flows to
the democracy of Japan in this idea. I am convinced that there is the Shamin
Party as well as the Democratic Party on the same side of the people."
"The Reorganization of the political world" is to advance with
the intensification of the internal confrontation of the Liberal-Democratic
Party, the confrontation between the reactionary sect and the liberal sect,
according to the confrontation of "coordinates' axis" named "nation"
and "people." However, the workers know that this two sides are
both only somewhat different appearances of the bourgeois standpoint.
Of course, the workers have confirmed that the part hanging out the "nationalism"
is the one representing a bourgeois reactionary, on the other hand, the
part expressing "the people" represents some liberal tendency.
They will not go into any kind of action on behalf of the reactionary sect
when the reactionary sect and the liberal sect conflict each other. However,
they do not beautify nor support the liberal sect aggressively at all,
but on the contrary, expose the class essence, the negligence, the halfway
attitude, and the powerlessness of the bourgeois, liberal sect thoroughly,
and fight so that the original class struggle of the workers may be developed.
The line of the two tendencies, which is shown in the idea of Kato, the
chief secretary of the Liberal-Democratic Party, "the nation or the
people," is drawn between the liberal sect of the Liberal-Democratic
Party, the Democratic Party, the Shamin party, the Sun Party, and the reactionary
sect of the Liberal-Democratic Party, the New Frontier Party.
Though the old Komeito (the Clean Government Party) and the old Japan Democratic
Socialist Party do not make clear which power to attach, in the peculiar
petty bourgeois reactionary of these parties, the possibility to bring
them close to the power of "nationalism" will be strong.
The power of "conservatives" (the old Liberal-Democratic Party)
was divided to the Liberal-Democratic Party and the New Frontier Party
in "the factional dispute," if this division has a meaning politically,
it would have been able to have some necessity and a practical content
only in the shape that the Liberal-Democratic Party differentiates into
the more liberal politics and the New Frontier Party differentiates into
the more national and reactionary politics further.
The union of the Liberal-Democratic Party and the Shamin party pushed somewhat
liberal part of the Liberal-Democratic Party out to the surface, and enabled
the regime by the hegemony of such as Gennichi Kato.
However, when the problem of "national defense" ("the important
thing of the nation"!) touching the basis of bourgeois rule rose to
the surface, the hegemony of the liberal sect had shaken and became dismantled
at once. Although, this was not chance at all.
The rally of the nationalistic and the reactionary parts started in the
Liberal-Democratic Party, and they began to relate and synchronized with
the reactionary sect in the New Frontier Party at once.
The liberal parts in the Liberal-Democratic Party repulsed to the nationalistic
politics, have strengthened and could not have strengthen the relation
to the Democratic Party and the Shamin party.
Thus, the confrontation of the route of "nation" and the route
of "people" has surfaced rapidly as the new "concentrating
axis" of politics.
Of course, the Communist Party that has been advocating "the people
principle" and has become "liberalism" completely will be
prepared to join to the liberal "union front" opposing to the
reactionary sect completely, too. It is already only a fantasy before long
that this party is the class and worker's party even in some measure.
However, "the nation" and "the people" might really
be different one essentially? The workers confirm that "the nation"
and "the people" are also the idea of the society which the capital
rules basically and the one expressed in somewhat different shapes the
class relation of this bourgeois society.
The nation and the people "involve" the class relation and the
class struggle in the concept.
The nation is the class nation and the capital's nation. The one named
"cooperation" and "community" is a fantasy. It was
nature that Marx had called the bourgeois nation as "a Fantastic Community."
It is a fantasy and only apparent that the bourgeois nation is such as
"community." The reason for it is that this nation is keeping
the class confrontation of the capital and work inside, which cannot be
harmony, and is only the nation as the result, ultimately the nation as
the tool of the rule by capital, the nation as powers with which the capital
is organized. ("The Organized Violence" of the rule class according
to Lenin's word.)
On the other hand, the concepts of people might be also similar.
Though the petty bourgeois of the Communist Party does never understand,
the people are also divided to classes --- that is, the bourgeoisie of
various hierarchies, the petty bourgeois of various tendencies, and the
working class with a lot of hierarchies, and furthermore, the parasitic
hierarchy that is external to the social, economic relations, and so on
--- and conflict themselves in interests, too. So the "people"
as somewhat united and the one harmonized is fantastic and does not exist.
The people principle is the national principle and the national principle
is the people principle. The people principle and the national principle
are "mutually supplementary" and are not conflicting from the
basis, so we cannot organize the political party that conflicts essentially
based on the people principle and the national principle.
It is not that it is good in case of the people principle and not bad in
case of the national principle. The people principle, the nationalism,
and the national principle --- these are a class and ideological standpoints
of capital that result inevitably from this rule of the capital, and conflict
and oppose with the worker's class and socialistic standpoint.
It is not chance that the Communist Party emphasizes the people principle
in one side and stirs up the nationalism in the other side. This reactionary
petty bourgeois's party understands that this both are essentially the
same. This party emphasizes, "If Japan will become independent in
the future, it is necessary to have the army for self-defense," and
confesses even the own, bourgeois, national principle.
If the national principle and the people principle would be able to be
distinguished it might be that the latter emphasizes the "civicistic"
opportunity of the bourgeois society, however, this "civicistic"
side must be "rose" to the nation and become rose after all.
There is the necessity even here, the liberal and the civicist are "twined"
into the national principle and are corrupted, and become to support ---
became! --- even the imperialist war aggressively and passively.
It might be nonsense and be powerless to hoist the "people" principle
to oppose the nationalistic "concentration" of the reactionary
sect.
The one that opposes to the national principle and the imperialism of the
bourgeois reactionary sect gaining power, and be able to fight against
it to the last minute thoroughly might be, and only be the class struggle
of the workers aiming at the socialism, and not the liberal's "fight,
the "national" fight, who is another bourgeois sect.
The fight of such as the Shamin Party, the Democratic Party --- we cannot
declare that the Communist Party does not join this --- is decided and
fated the failure and the bankruptcy from the beginning, and the workers
cannot trust and cannot rely on these kind of things even just a moment.
